UPDATE: The Lake Alert for Park Lake has been lifted. Resume normal activities around the lake.
The City’s Stormwater Division has issued a Lake Alert for Park Lake due to water quality concerns following a sanitary sewer overflow.
Grease blockage in a sanitary line has resulted in a small amount of sewage escaping from a manhole at the intersection of Park Lake Circle and Park Lake Street. City Wastewater crews have already repaired the issue and cleaned the immediate area but ask that all water contact activities be suspended until further notice.
