Bike Fridays: Ivanhoe Village & Mills 50
Live in Ivanhoe Village District or Mills 50 and work in Downtown Orlando? Bike with us to work and discover something new about Orlando. We will meet at 7am every SECOND Friday from October to December near The Gallery at Mills Park. reThink Program Manager and Cycling Savvy Instructor Courtney Reynolds will lead the ride to downtown, using the Orlando Urban Trail, bike lanes and traffic lanes as appropriate/available.
Good Morning Winter Park Presents Coffee & Commuting
This year, make time for yourself during the holidays and “reThink” your commute during the Winter Park Commute Challenge. Join us for the kickoff event on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 8 a.m.- 9:15 a.m. when Good Morning Winter Park presents “Coffee & Commuting,” a special one-time only event at the Winter Park Welcome Center. Hear from a panel of transportation experts while enjoying a complimentary breakfast and networking.

Holiday Movie: Elf

Grab a blanket and join the Downtown Development Board and MIX 105.1 on December 9, 2016 at Lake Eola Park to enjoy a free showing of the holiday movie Elf.
Uberbahn presents: Ars Phoenix & The Viirus LIVE
Überbahn at The Falcon returns Friday, December 9th with 2 Uber live show alumni. Ars Phoenix and THE VIIRUS are back to perform for us, in celebration of their split cassette release due out on Popnihil. Be sure to come snag one up! DJ NM on the turntables before, between, and after.

We would like to invite you to our College Park United Methodist Church Women’s Christmas Gathering and Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, December 10th. We are blessed to have Jayne Rideout speaking to us about “JOY,” Merrill Frailey speaking about “May the Weary World Rejoice,” wonderful Christmas carols, yummy lite bites, fellowship with friends and awesome local vendors for you to do a little holiday shopping in our Fellowship Hall. This unique event will be open to the public on Saturday, December 10, from 10 AM to 6 PM. At this new event you’ll try pens seen only in pictures…and many you’ve never seen. You will try pens, talk pens, and learn from experts and other enthusiasts who are more than happy to share their knowledge, or help you find the pens that best suit your taste, writing style and budget.
Baby & Kids’ Clothing Swap
Calling all caregivers to participate in a clothing swap for ages 0-4. Bring in clean, gently-used clothes, tabletop toys and accessories to swap and shop for something new-to-you! Early donation drop-off is accepted starting Monday, December 5th – Friday, December 9, 2016. Donations are not required to participate.
SantaCon
Yup…it’s that time again…SANTACON 2016!!!!!!! SantaCon is celebrated all over the country and is simply a gathering of people dressed as Santa that go as a group from Restaurant and Bars celebrating the Holiday Season with some tasty Libations!
9th Annual Holiday Lights Ride
Mark your calendars! Our 8th Annual Holiday Lights ride is coming up! Want to put a new “spin” on taking in the festive holiday lights displays? Let’s do it by bicycle (decorations are encouraged)! Meet at B3 at 6:00 PM for a fun holiday lights tour (we depart at 7:00 PM sharp). We’ll ohh and ahh our way around town on a kid friendly ride and then return to B3 for hot drinks, warm conversation.
The Great Orlando Mixer
To coincide with repeal day, The Great Orlando Mixer has been moved to December! Orlando’s largest craft cocktail party will be happening at Orlando’s most elaborately decorated vintage venue, complete with 1920’s costumes, hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment and craft cocktails from the city’s top bars and bartenders. There’s LIMITED CAPACITY, so only a LIMITED number of tickets are available for this event.
4th Annual Violectric Holiday Concert
Violectric mashes up Classic and Modern Rock with traditional Holiday songs, performing on strings with drums and keys. Presented by the City of Orlando Families, Parks & Recreation. Stick around following the show for the Old Forrester End of Prohibition After Party with a Prohibition Era Costume Contest, DJ FoxForce005, Food Trucks, Cash Bar and Free Samples. The Getbye @TheFalcon
Saturday: from one musician simultaneously playing an accordion, drums and a trumpet at the same time, to the others playing bongos, bass and guitar… The Getbye are certainly a spectacle to be seen. The Getbye makes their audience the fifth member of the band through clapping, chanting and by even passing around their own percussive instruments, the shows are just as much a party as they are a performance.
A Very Body//Talk Christmas w/ Bengali 600

A 45 mile ride through Oviedo and the UCF Campus with a stop half way to refuel. Ride pace is 18 to 21 mph. Merry & Bright – A Matthew Mendel Christmas
Cool Yule presents Matthew Mendel, backed by some of Orlando’s very best musicians, in his very first holiday concert featuring many of your favorite Christmas tunes and a few you’ve probably never heard. There may even be a surprise or two. Be sure to bring a bottle of wine or a plate of treats for all to enjoy. As with every concert at Timucua, this show is absolutely free, but donations are encouraged.
