Enzian’s Annual Christmas Tradition! It’s the eve of Christmas in northern Finland, and an ‘archeological’ dig has just unearthed the real Santa Claus. But this particular Santa isn’t the one you want coming to town. When the local children begin mysteriously disappearing, young Pietari and his father Rauno, a reindeer hunter by trade, capture the mythological being and attempt to sell Santa to the misguided leader of the multinational corporation sponsoring the dig.

Join Emil Buehler Planetarium Director Derek Demeter as he explores the future of space exploration for the next generation. Topics include the Solar System, search for exoplanets, dark matter, and more! The South Trail Branch hosts the traveling exhibit “Explore Tech: Engineers Make a World of Difference” through January 6, 2017.

This is the crawl that started it all! Now in it’s 15th year, the Santa Stumble is the best way to get into the Holiday Spirit! Make sure you are in the spirit of things by dressing up as your favorite holiday character – it can be Santa, Frosty, Rudolph or whomever.
5th Annual Christmas Light Ride!
Please join us for our 5th Annual Christmas Light Ride! Saturday, December 19, at 7 pm! We will take a ride through Ivanhoe Village and College Park to take in the great light displays. Ride will be about 6 miles at a casual pace, all bikes welcome! Don’t forget to decorate your bike!
Art & Education Winter Gala
The PreJax Foundation presents an evening at the Henao Contemporary Center to promote local art & the education of exceptional students affected by multiple sclerosis. The gala will feature speakers and performers who work to change Central Florida for the better. Headline feature by Sylvia Longmire – Ms. Wheelchair USA 2016, hosted by Kira Calvaresi. A 45 mile ride through Oviedo and the UCF Campus with a stop half way to refuel. Ride pace is 18 to 21 mph. Grandma Party 2016
Grandma is coming! Join us and bring your friends on December 18th for the best Sunday of the year, Grandma Party Bazaar! Grandma Party is you and me and all of us making it happen, so you’d better be there because it just won’t be the same without you. Outdoor Family Concert (Free)
Dr. Phillips Charities is proud to present the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert honoring Della Phillips. This FREE concert is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event, with pre-show activities beginning at 12:00 p.m. and a hour-long concert with the Orlando Philharmonic beginning at 1:30 p.m. The first half features the classic tale of Peter and the Wolf, as read by Timothy Pappas.
