EDIT: WE’VE BEEN INFORMED BY THE 7-ELEVEN CORPORATE OFFICES THAT THE BURGERS DO NOT COME WITH PICKLES, BUT THEY ARE PART OF THE CONDIMENT OFFERINGS AT THE TOPPINGS BAR WHERE YOU CAN ALSO FIND JALAPENOS.
7-Eleven has begun serving a Classic Cheeseburger for $1.99 in Orlando locations.
The burger is a quarter-pound of “chopped beef steak patty,” with a slice of processed cheese, and pickles, on a bun. They also have Double Cheeseburgers that are available for $3.49. You can also top your own burger at the toppings bar.
We stopped by our local 7-Eleven in Mills 50 two times before this post to take a photo, but they were sold out both times.
Check out this video review of the burger by YouTube taste tester JoeysWorldTour …
Damn. So it’s almost $10 for a Whopper, large fries and drink. That’s crazy.
We’ll start calling it the Good Enough Burger
According to fastfoodmenuprices.com a Whopper costs $4.19 and a Quarter Pounder is $3.79
I haven’t been to a fast food restaurant in years but $1.99 for that miserable-looking, dried out hamburger seems a bit high. How much is a McDs Quarter Pounder® or BK Whopper® these days?
I’ve been enjoying these for a couple months now after a few drinks in Thornton. They’re not the best, but they definitely aren’t bad.
It’s exactly how you think it would be. Not great, not terrible.
If I ate meat, I’d admit trying it!
