Greek and Mediterranean restaurant, Cafe Annie, recently announced on their Facebook page that they would be closing at the end of the year, after 29 years of business. The reason given is so the owners can focus on opening their new concept in Baldwin Park, Meza Orlando. More on that, HERE.
Cafe Annie, located at 131 N. Orange Avenue [GMap], will close on December 30.
Hubbly Bubbly is still scheduled to open their second location right next door. We wrote about that back in April, 2016, HERE.
Ahh, bummer. Wish I would have seen this sooner to go one last time. Their lunch was delicious, and grumpy owner was practically as iconic as the soup nazi.
lol, my fault for only reading the post and not the article…
Haha is there an echo in here?
The owner is closing and opening a place in Baldwin called Meza this spring.
Kelly Ann Trace oh no!
Were they ever actually open?
Maybe the consistently angry owner drove people away.
No! At least Hubbly Bubble will be nearby.
