The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority has successfully added Wi-Fi to all of their 300 buses. We first reported on the new amenity back in August, 2016, HERE.

Bus-riders will simply have to select “LYNX-Bus WiFi” on their devices and accept the terms and conditions presented in order to use the service during their ride. There is no password and the service is provided by Verizon Wireless. Advertising will be available on the Wi-Fi terms and conditions web page.

LYNX is also working on a mobile fare payment system and trip planning applications that will show the real-time locations of their buses.
