Bungalower just learned of a bonus project associated with the 126-room Magnolia hotel development; the construction of a multi-use trail that will cut under the 408 overpasses.
The developer agreed to the City’s Conditions of Approval which included a request that they contribute $50,000 towards the construction of the trail in order to build their hotel. The funds will be held in a separate account and used to design and construct the new trail. If the project has not been put into motion by December 1, 2023, they are obliged to return the money. Magnolia Hotel was approved as a Planned Development by the MPB in September, 2016;
