The recently formed South Eola Neighborhood Association (Facebook | Nextdoor) is looking for residents to join their ranks. The South Eola neighborhood comprises the increasingly dense residential area between Summerlin Avenue to the east, Robinson Street to the north, Lake Avenue to the west, and the 408 to the south.

South Eola is one of the fastest growing residential neighborhoods in Downtown Orlando, with a number of high rises breaking ground at the time of this post. Click HERE to see our South Eola archives.

The mission of SENA is to, “promote a better neighborhood and community through group action and advocacy” through collaboration with the residents and the business community.

The new organization is looking to recruit for board positions and committees that focus on topics like beautification, crime prevention and safety, and community building.

If you’d like to speak with the organization, email [email protected].

  1. As president of the reorganization committee I am beyond excited to see this. I want to say thank you to Bungalower as well as welcome anyone/everyone who’s reading to share this article on Facebook or any of the links above because like a tree growing it’s roots, our association needs to grow our Orlando network.
South Eola is often confused with Thornton Park because our neighborhood is included in the ‘Thornton Park District’ (TPD) which is part of the Orlando Main Street program but South Eola is not Thornton Park.
We are a truly unique neighborhood with apartments, condos, high rise towers and single family homes. We have the only grocery store downtown, a number of boutique shops, restaurants, an art gallery, the only dog park downtown and Lake Eola. Even with all this we continue to see new development which in the near future will add more housing, and more businesses to our neighborhood. It’s an exciting place to be.
Our association has already been working on projects/issues throughout the area with great success. Working together with City Hall we held a few events this past year and we are currently planning our next. We would love to see you there!
