On January 10, we reported (HERE) that the Bakery Bar was going to be opening in the former home of the Dubliner, but we were incorrect. In fact, the new dessert-themed cocktail lounge has opened in the former home of the Rok Room, which is located just behind the Dubliner, in a back alley, on the second floor. The address is still the same, 41 W. Church Street [GMap].
The new Church Street venue held a soft opening on January 14 and 15 and is expecting to hold their grand opening on February 9.
We visited the new space and sampled a few of their cocktails, pictured below. Despite a focus on baked goods-inspired drinks, the Bakery Bar is a full-service bar that will also be offering seasonal cocktails. They’re also reaching out to local bakeries to start selling their treats at the bar.
They are available for special event rentals and bridal parties.
Happy Hour is 7-9 p.m. Wednesday-Friday featuring two-for-one wells, calls, and premiums and $3-off signature cocktails.
