Gaviota Restaurant (Facebook | Website) has opened their second location in Orlando, called Gaviota Brasas in the former home of Casa Barcelona on Colonial Drive [GMap].
We covered the Casa Barcelona space closing this past January HERE where we were informed by someone on-site that a “Caribbean seafood” restaurant would be opening there by March.
Gaviota Seafood and Fine Peruvian Cuisine, opened in South Eola’s Sanctuary building last October.
According to their Facebook, the new restaurant will be serving primarily pollos a la brasas, or blackened/rotisserie chickens. Click HERE to see their menu.
The grand opening was held February 15, 2017.
