After more than 18 years in Winter Park, Orlando Vintage Clothing and Costume (Website) is moving to College Park later this year.

The shop on Fairbanks Avenue known for its funky styles from the 1890s to the 1990s will move to its new location at 1500 Formosa Avenue [GMap] near Par Street by this spring.

No date has been set for the opening of the new store, an employee told Bungalower.

Orlando Vintage purchased the building formerly occupied by American Antiques and Wrought Iron, which closed last year. The building also once housed a neighborhood grocery store and meat market in the 1950s, according to the employee we spoke with.

The new 3,600 SF Orlando Vintage store will be more than double the size of the current store.

Orlando Vintage, which is owned by Lisa Booth-Smith, buys, rents and sells clothing from a variety of eras. The shop also provides costumes for film and theater productions, themed parties, themed weddings and photo shoots.
