The Melrose Center (Website) in the Downtown Library will host a new series of talks called Script Orlando, where the community nominates individuals to speak each month.

The nominated individuals then share how they started their career or business with the audience, how they affect their community, or what inspires them in their work and in their lives.

The Melrose Center will accept nominations of friends, co-workers, family members, or even self-nominations. Simply choose someone who inspires you, who has something to say, who is a role model, who is creative, or who is a people connector.

Anyone who is nominated and agrees to speak, will then present a 15-20 minute talk.

The March speaker is Jim Hobart, owner and operator of Macbeth Studio (Website). The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Melrose Center, on the second level of the Downtown Library [GMap].
