A new service is turning texts into faxes for lawmaking decision makers, with the hit of a button.

Resistbot (Website) is a free service that allows users to reach out to politicians across the country, by transcribing their texts into faxes.

Users text the word “resist” to 50409, after which an automated bot service will ask you for a name and zip code to determine who you should be contacting. Form letters are discouraged, in favor of short, original messages only a few sentences in length.

Even though the service is free, Resistbot is overseen by volunteers and does accept donations, which you can make HERE.
