“What’s happening with the Orlando Inc building after they move into the downtown building with orlando economic partnership.” – Sarah Elbadri

The Orlando Economic Development Commission and the Central Florida Partnership announced that they would be merging, HERE, this past January. Leaving some, like Miss Elbadri, to question what would be happening to the current home of Orlando Inc., otherwise known as the Greater Orlando Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber has been leasing the space from the City for $0 a year since the late ’60s, according to an earlier report we did on City leases HERE in March, 2016.

Cassandra Lafser, Keeper of Knowledge/Press Secretary for the City of Orlando, told Bungalower that Orlando Inc., would be staying in the building until the end of June, when their lease expires. After which they will be joining the EDC in their offices, under their new name, the Orlando Economic Partnership.

Lafser told us that, “The City has not explored any options for future uses of the building at this time.”

The Chamber building is located at 75 NE Ivanhoe Boulevard [GMap].
