Downtown I-4 Parking lots to close permanently

As of Monday, April 10, both City Lot 10 and City Lot 9 will close permanently to public parking use.

The lots are located under the interstate overpass, between Pine Street and Washington Avenue.

The closures were instigated by the overhead bridge construction, as part of the I-4 Ultimate project. City Lot 9 South and Bob Snow Lane are also closed.

People looking to park in that area are encouraged to use the Garland Avenue Lot [GMap], Jefferson Street Garage [GMap], and the Central Boulevard Garage [GMap].

The lots are expected to be transformed into a new public park, currently being called the “Bridge District” or “Under I.” More on that, HERE.
