We learned in December, 2015 that Walgreens would be moving into the former Valencia College administration building, on the corner of Church and Orange Avenue [GMap].

Since then, the renovation work has been focused on the interior of the Downtown historic building, but as of this morning, new exterior signage has been added.

The building was originally constructed in 1911 and was reportedly the site of Orlando’s first bank robbery.

Walgreens still has to install a large “W” over the Orange Avenue entrance and a larger corner sign, on the southeastern corner of the building, as seen below.
