NASA will host their 48-hour International Space Apps Challenge at the Guidewell Innovation Center [GMap] on the weekend of April 29.

Participants will collaborate to solve challenges posed by NASA scientists like designing interactive space gloves, or processing clean water mapping. Last year, participants from 161 cities created thousands of open-source solutions using code, data visualizations, hardware, and innovative design .

Participants receive a $100 credit for Amazon Web Services and a pass to meet with the Swamp Works team at Kennedy Space Center. The top two local teams will win a three-month membership to Canvs coworking, a one-year membership to the Orlando Tech Association, and local mentorships. The two teams will also move on to the International competition
