Transplanted Canadians, Kristen Manieri of Orlando Date Night Guide and Faiyaz Kara of Orlando Weekly, have gathered together the top poutine-making chefs in the region in honor of Victoria Day, on Monday, May 22.
The event, running from 6-9 p.m. at K Restaurant Wine Bar (Facebook | Website) in College Park [GMap] will feature dishes by the following chefs:
- Kathleen Blake – Rusty Spoon (Facebook | Website)
- Andres Mendoza – Norman’s at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando (Facebook | Website)
- Simon Zanotto – Earl’s Kitchen and Bar (Facebook | Website)
Guests will be able to sample the famously-delicious Canadian dish (traditionally comprised of French fries, cheese curds, and gravy) and vote for their favorite. There will also be a variety of Canadian beer, wine, and whiskey on-hand and special Canadian desserts.
