2017 Orlando Cabaret Festival
We are excited to announce the return of a singular downtown Orlando event – the 15th annual Orlando Cabaret Festival, featuring cabaret artists from Central Florida and beyond. This year’s cabaret festival has a new look and feel as we move our festival from an annual event to a year-round series with a cabaret event during every season of the year! This years’ performances will take place May 13-21, 2017 only at Mad Cow Theatre.
American Craft Beer Week 2017
Raising a glass to our favorite week of the year with 7 limited edition beers & an entire week of events! Monday, May 15th: Yoga Under the Stars & Taproom Trivia Cheeky Monkey – Blend of Pompous Ass IPA and Entitlement Ale dry-hopped with Cascade hops and aged on pineapple. Tuesday, May 16th: Anisocoria Tasting Tartistic Interpretation 2.0 – Organikölsch aged on cucumbers and lemon zest. Wednesday, May 17th: Doughnut Beer Release & BOM Birthday Head Like a Doughnut Hole
26th Annual Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival
The Orlando Fringe is back for the 26th annual festival, May 16th through the 29th. With over 1,200 performances from local, national and international performing arts companies, as well as area high school thespian troupes, there is truly something for everyone at the Orlando fringe. The Free Outdoor Stage at Orlando Fringe is back!!! The Orlando Fringe Festival’s 2017 FREE Outdoor Stage sponsored by WPRK starts Thursday, May 18th on the Fringe Lawn in Orlando’s Loch Haven Park. Over 75 different acts performing over 12 days! The WPRK Free Outdoor Stage is located in Loch Haven Park, next to the Orlando Fringe Beer Tent.
Spring Book Sale
Find your new beach reads at the Friends of the Library annual Spring Book Sale on the third floor of the Orlando Public Library. A great selection of fiction and non-fiction, recorded books, DVDs, CDs and more will be available for half price. A private preview sale for members of the Friends of the Orange County Library System will be held Thursday, May 19 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Anyone who knows us knows of our deep rooted love for coffee in its many faces. TWEAK’D FEST is our way of pairing two things we like very much. Accidental Music Festival Marathon!
Accidental Music Festival’s Marathon AMF celebrates the emergence of Orlando as a hotbed of contemporary classical and creative music on May 20th. Featuring 18 ensembles and soloists performing a day-long concert of music almost exclusively by living composers at the Sodo Shopping Center, the event seeks to highlight the work of new and established groups dedicated to new music.
Swamp Sistas La La at Orlando Fringe 2017
Orlando songwriter Beth McKee and Park Ave CDs are co-presenting the fifth annual Swamp Sistas La La, a family friendly, musical gathering of female-fronted acts, on May 20 from 3 to 11 p.m. on the Fringe Lawn Stage in Loch Haven Park. The musically diverse lineup ranges from singer songwriter to folk rock, a capella, rhythm and blues (both kinds) and Hip Hop, plus Orlando’s best story teller.
