Chef Greg Peters, President of Graffiti Junktion, will be returning to his former building in Thornton Park to open a new concept called Truck Stop Restaurant. Graffiti Junktion moved out of its space at 900 E. Washington [GMap] and into the home of Wildside Bar and Grille in the fall of 2016. More on that HERE.

Truck Stop Restaurant (Facebook | Website) will be a permanent pop-up kitchen that chefs, food truck owners, restaurants, and catering companies can use for one night. Chefs will be able to rent the kitchen and “pop-up” their concept for one night, allowing the space to feature a Mexican menu one night, followed by seafood, and Asian-American fusion the following night.

The bar menu would remain the same each night.

Peters sees this as a great opportunity for local fundraisers and event producers as well.

Truck Stop is expected to open in July, 2017. They will be open Thursday through Sunday nights and for brunch on the weekend.
