AIGA Orlando is hosting a Design and Civic Engagement Panel in response to the recent City-led flag design contest.

The event will be held on 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 22 at the Power DMS offices in the Church Street Exchange building, at 101 S. Garland Avenue [GMap].

The panel, moderated by Matt Lavoie of Power DMS, will discuss the role of creatives investing in civic issues and community efforts, as well as the impact of design on business, society, and culture.

Panelists include:

  • Cole NeSmith, Executive Director of the Creative City Project
  • Stephanie Darden, President & Chief Creative Officer, Prismatic
  • Michele Brennan, City of Orlando Director of Communications and Neighborhood Relations
  • Devon Hoernschemeyer, Senior Designer, The Golf Channel & Co-President, AIGA Orlando
