This is the fourth year in a row that the City of Orlando’s Parks department has allowed Orlando residents to view the Fourth of July fireworks from the privacy of a swan boat.

Two weeks before the event, the Lake Eola staff advertises on their social media channels that the swan boats can be rented for $120 per boat, from 7-11 p.m. This year all of the boats were rented in approximately one hour of the announcement being made, on June 19.

The $120 fee is based on the current $15 per 30 minutes scale.

Boat renters are free to paddle until approximately 8:30 p.m. when the fireworks barges are moved into place. Then the boats are anchored to the dock and provided food and alcohol service by nearby Relax Grill.

Once the barges are cleared by the pyrotechnics technician, renters are allowed to paddle out into the lake again until 11 p.m.

Reach out to the Lake Eola Parks offices at 407-246-4484 for more information.
