According to Scott Joseph, Spice Modern Steakhouse (Website) management informed the staff on Sunday that they would be closing.
Spice owner, Manny Tato, also recently closed his other businesses Spice Burgr and Verde Cantina. Both spaces are currently still vacant.
Rumors had hinted to the closure months previous but nothing could be confirmed by staff or through their legal representation. We’ve reached out to Tato for further comment.
Spice was located at 407 E. Central Avenue overlooking Lake Eola Park [GMap].
