FRIDAY, JULY 21
Join Mayor Dyer at City Hall for his annual State of the City address. He’ll relfect on our City’s recent accomplishments and also make several announcements on the City’s priorities to keep Orlando connected and moving forward.
When in the home supporter section, always wear purple! If purple isn’t your thing then alternate colors are black, gray or white.
SATURDAY, JULY 22
Orlandough will be popping up at New General THIS saturday from 9-sell out. We will have brioche, vegan raised, vegan old-fashioned, gluten-free old fashioned, and baked vegan gluten free donuts. And then we’re going to have a nap. We’ll be featuring collaborations with Gezellig Cookies, Donna Chai, andNew General….along with one more super secret collab we’ve been cooking up with Townie Tourist. AKA it’s gonna be lit.
For our 2 Year Anniversary party we will be tapping some limited edition brews at 11:30 a.m. Here is a glimpse of what you will be able to enjoy. BA Weary Beast – 10% – Jefferson Ocean barrel-aged imperial stout BA Coffee Beast BA Vanilla Beast BA Awaken My Love – 10% – Imperial breakfast stout with coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, and maple syrup and many more.
TPD Miniature Golf Crawl is part Pub Crawl, part Miniature Golf and all fun! Golfers will be challenged by holes designed and built by nine Thornton Park District bars and restaurants while enjoying drink specials and prize giveaways. After the crawl, golfers and spectators converge on The Abbey for the official post party complete with live music, food, awards, and a costume contest.
It’s almost time for the Ultimate Pub Crawl that completely takes over downtown. Orlando Pub Crawl and Orlando Sport and Social Club are proud to present the 12th Annual Crazy 80’s Pub Crawl. Due to the large number of crawlers ALL crawlers must check in at Sideshow Bar at Wall St Plaza, starting as early as 7:30 p.m.
SUNDAY, JULY 23
The baby goats have grown too big to join us, but the yoga is still here : ) Break out of your regular routine and come down to the farm for a yoga class with the sights and sounds of Wildflower Farm.
Come watch the final stage of the Tour de France live at the Cafe. They’ll have $3 mimosas and more. If you are feeling ambitious join in for a 45 mile ride at 7:30 a.m.
Join us for our monthly Tasty Takeover Brunch at Will’s Pub and lil indies on Sunday July 23 with Bem Bom Food, Tamale Co. Mexican Street Food, Voodoo Kitchen Food Truck and Da Kine Poke. UPDATE: Curbside Chef will be filling in for Tamale Co 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at 1042 N Mills Ave, just a few miles north of Tasty Takeover in The Milk District.
Join us for a special screening of the film, “Red Tails,” a historical fiction drama based on the true story of the Tuskegee Airmen. Starring Terrence Howard and Cuba Gooding, Jr., the film centers on the story of the first African-American pilots who, although they served in WWII, were forced to fly in segregated units.
