Valencia College and LYNX have signed an agreement that will allow all college students and employees to ride the bus for free.
Valencia will provide the funding for the bus service for all LYNX routes and NeighborLink routes. LYNX will also be adding a bus route to Valencia’s Lake Nona campus.
Students and employees will simply nee to show their Valencia ID card which will have a special sticker on it provided by the college that is good for one full academic year. Stickers will be available beginning August 23 at any Valencia campus security office.
Valencia estimates that currently 650 passengers take the bus to and from Valencia campuses each day.
