Orlando’s first Lao restaurant, Sticky Rice, will be opening in the former Pho 407 space this November. This is a new concept by Marshall Phanthachit, owner and head chef of Soupa Saiyan.

While Lao food is rooted in the nation of Laos, the Lao ethnic group is also found in Thailand and Veitnam and transcends borders.

Sticky Rice is a fast/casual concept and will specialize in authentic Lao street food, like beef laab salad, papaya salad, Lao chicken wings, and of course, sticky rice, served tapas-style. Small plates will all be priced under $10.

Sticky Rice will be located at 1915 E. Colonial Drive [GMap] and will be open for lunch and dinner, and possibly late night for dine-in and takeout.
