Super Rico Colombian Bistro (Facebook | Website) is a small restaurant tucked into the southwestern corner of the Central Parking Garage, located at 57 W. Central Boulevard [GMap]

Launched as a food truck, the business quickly established itself as a popular lunch spot Downtown with its tiny-home sized interior and street-side cafe seating.

Super Rico ownership has filed paperwork to be able to serve beer and wine. Rico staff told Bungalower that they will be serving Colombian beers like Cerveza Aguila and that the wine menu was still being finessed.

Super Rico is currently only open for breakfast and lunch but will be returning to dinner service during the week and expanding their menu by adding more specials, in the near future. Follow their social media channels above to stay updated.

The City has been leasing the space to Super Rico’s owners since 2012, and the lease term is scheduled to expire on June 30, 2018, with options to renew through 2020.

The appeal to serve beer and wine is scheduled for the October 23 City Council meeting and is recommended for approval. If all goes well, the Super Rico team expects to be serving drinks in time for Halloween.
