Angela Lansbury in Murder She Wrote

History in a Glass (Website) is the Orange County Regional History’s version of Drunk History, except in the Orlando version we get to be the ones drinking.

The third installment of the craft cocktail-meets-history class event series will feature drinks inspired by the infamous murder  mystery of Dolores Myerly at the San Juan Hotel in 1938. If you don’t mind spoilers, you can read all about the murder by reading THIS Orlando Sentinel article.

This month’s cocktails will be prepared by the Ravenous Pig, Luke’s Kitchen and Bar, and The Nest Bar in Baldwin Park, all using Cooper’s Craft Bourbon.

The event begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, October 26 and tickets are $25. Drink service begins at 6:30 p.m. but you may miss the story if you come too late, and honestly, it’s one of our favorite parts.

Halloween costumes are encouraged.
