Local indy publisher, Burrow Press (Website), has just released a new hardcover anthology called We can’t help it if we’re from Florida: New stories from a sinking peninsula.

The new 200-page work is a collection of unpublished stories and essays by current and former Floridians, inspired by the state we live in; Florida, nothing to do with your mental state of mind (although it could be argued they’re linked here).

You can purchase the hardcover HERE for $24.

A book release and fundraiser for Burrow Press will be held on November 29 at the Orange Studio in Mills 50, located at 1121 N. Mills Avenue [GMap]. You can RSVP HERE for free or donate $10 per person. Activities include shuffleboard, readings, free Pub’ subs, alcoholic Slurpeez, and more.
