Mia Supermarket, which opened in the former Colonialtown Winn-Dixie space in 2015, has changed its name and is now iFresh (Website).

New York-based iFresh is the first publicly-listed Chinese/Asian supermarket chain in the country, and has a fast-growing presence in the northeast. This year they’ve made a habit of purchasing and retrofitting supermarkets, including one in Miami in early October.

Stores feature Chinese architectural elements, food courts, and specialty foods. The chain espouses a commitment to fresh produce sourced from regional farms. The company also has in-house delivery and online order options.

No word from the company on whether this will affect the layout or selection of products in the store, but we have reached out.

The market is located at the northeastern corner of Colonial Drive and Bumby Avenue [GMap]
