The newly birthed Central Florida Social Enterprise Accelerator has announced their first class of inductees.
The accelerator is a new six-month program meant to connect early-stage entrepreneurs with funding, training, and mentorship and is the result of a joint partnership between the Central Florida Foundation, Entrepreneurs in Action, Rollins College, Clean the World, Orlando Together, and the City of Orlando. We wrote about the launch HERE complete with video.
Roughly 39 applications were received for the program, with only nine being selected to participate in the first cohort. Those businesses are:
- Mustard Seed of Central Florida
- SnapGood
- Outcome Funding
- Omnimodal
- Hebni Nutrition Consultants
- Florida Abolitionists
- Fleet Farming
- EcoSpears
- Big Mountain Data
Each participating group will receive a tailored curriculum and mentorship culminating in a final pitch in March 2018 where one of them will be awarded a minimum $25,000 investment.
