A mural that has been in the works since the Pulse shooting in June 2016 has finally been installed on the side of the building that houses Burton’s Bar in Thornton Park.
The mural is the creation of multiple local artists who incorporated portraits of the victims of the shootings, members of their families, local figures, and first responders in a sort of snap shot of the days following the shootings.
The mural was painted on multiple panels in a workshop over the Mills 50 Anthony’s Pizza shop and then installed on the side of the building.
