KASA Restaurant (Facebook | Website) has announced a re-branding of their Downtown concept in early January.
KASA Tapas and Raw Bar opened in the Chase Plaza in 2013 and specialized in modern small plates. We covered the opening HERE.
KASA will now become Chela Tequila and Tacos (Website), a Mexican restaurant specializing in tacos and cocktails. The term chela comes from a slang for the word “beer” in Mexico.
They plan to continue hosting both the UnWine’d Wednesday and Bubbles ‘n’ Brunch events in the Plaza courtyard.
December 31 will be their last day of service for the current concept before officially reopening on Tuesday, January 23.
