The Sun Sentinel wrote on December 28 that Brightline (Website) would be rolling out its high(er) speed passenger train service the week of January 8.

The service will launch with the shorter Fort Lauderdale/West Palm Beach route, followed by the additions of Miami in Summer 2018 and a three-hour Orlando service route by 2020.

All Aboard Florida applied for the construction permit for the Orlando leg back in October. More information on that HERE.
