Restaurant partners have released more details following the announcement that KASA would be re-branding as new concept, Chela Tequila and Tacos  (Website) at the end of the month.

Chela will officially open for business on Tuesday, January 23 with a focus on “no frills” Mexican-inspired cuisine, spearheaded by Head Chef Michael Collantes (LinkedIn).

Guests to the opening can enjoy a $15 all-you-can-eat taco menu, and a variety of drink specials during the January 23 Taco Tuesday launch. Taco flavors include offerings like fried cheese and blackberry, pork belly and yucca, and house-made Chicharones.

Each month, Chef Collantes will host a guest chef to feature an original dish for Taco Tuesday.

Chela will offer over 50 tequilas and mezcals as well as a large selection of Mexican beers and craft cocktails.

Brunch and Unwined Wednesday will continue on after KASA, albeit with a Chela-twist.
