EDIT: The liquidation sale is actually expected to last six to eight weeks, not until January 17 as we originally posted. That date range was specifically for the distribution list that received the original letter.

Hinge (Website | Facebook) opened their College Park store specializing in hard-to-find merchandise, store fixtures, and equipment back in May, 2014, but have recently decided to liquidate their inventory and close the store.

When Hinge first opened at 1506 N. Orange Blossom Trail [GMap] they had over 3-4 million items in stock, after purchasing them from The Hardware Man at Renningers in Mt. Dora.

A letter was sent out to select regular customers to give advance notice of their impending Quitting Business Sale, which will be held from Thursday, January 11 through Wednesday, January 17.

A public announcement has not yet been made.

Store hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.

  1. I hate to hear this. Loved shopping and browsing the aisles of endless vintage and hard to find hardware.
