Signalized Crosswalk at East End Market

MetroPlan Orlando, the metropolitan planning organization for Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties, kicked off their year-long study of the Corrine Drive corridor in Audubon Park in February 6, 2017. We wrote about it HERE.

During that time, they have held a series of public workshops, panels, and online surveys to reshape the contentious Corrine corridor into something more befitting of an award-winning Main Street District.

We now have six separate preliminary design concepts (three main concepts with an alternate variation) that have been unveiled for public scrutiny, all of which can be seen in the attached document; five-lane, three-lane, and a hybrid layout.

None of these concepts have been selected. They are simply ideas that include possible solutions to problems and concerns raised through the study. The next steps will be to gather public feedback on these designs to refine and narrow the elements to one final design plan which will be presented to the public in this summer, 2018.
