Local venue, the Copper Rocket (Facebook | Website), will reopen its doors during the upcoming Super Bowl weekend after undergoing major renovations.

Bar owner, Alex Tchekmeian’s music merchandising company, AKT (Website), purchased the popular pub last year, in an attempt to reconcile the arguably unfavorable changes made by a well-known TV series. The new bar will bring locals an extreme overhaul to the interior while keeping crowd-favorite must-haves like live local music and trivia.

The grand opening will occur 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Saturday, February 3 with the same hours to follow seven days a week. For the Super Bowl, guests can enjoy open seating (first come first serve) with over 30+ TVs.

Along with structural improvements, patrons can sample an expanded menu, including lunch. On-tap, the bar will serve over 20 local and national brand beers as well as dozens more bottled options.

Trivia nights will be making a return with the schedule to be announced in the coming weeks. Joining this announcement will be updates on bar specials and highlighted menu features.
