Keep Winter Park Beautiful and the City of Winter Park’s Sustainability Program are looking for schools to apply to their Green School Grants program by Friday, February 23.
Green School Grants support sustainability efforts by schools in Winter Park as part of Earth Day celebrations each year.
Six projects are chosen each year to be awarded $100-$500. Projects must be fall under at least one of the following categories:
- Buildings, Energy, and Water
- Community Engagement and Green Economy
- Local Food and Agriculture
- Mobility and Urban Form
- Natural Systems and Resources
- Waste Diversion and Recycling
Grant applications and supporting materials must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018 to [email protected]. Awards will be announced at the city’s Annual Earth Day in the Park event on Sunday,
April 15, 2018.
