The City of Winter Park launched a Multi-use Trail project for Denning Drive in October 2017. Phase one has already nearing completed and the second phase will launch on Monday, February 5, between Fairbanks Avenue and Morse Boulevard.

Construction will take place 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for approximately six to eight weeks. North and South-bound lanes will remain open during construction but commuters should still expect delays.

Once finished, Denning Drive will have a new 10-foot wide multi-use trail that stretches from Mead Botanical Garden to Webster Avenue along the eastern side of the road.

The Orlando Urban Trail already connects from Orlando’s North Quarter and empties into Mead Gardens.

City of Winter Park Public Works will begin under-grounding overhead power lines along the corridor starting Monday, January 29. This project will stretch from the Denning Drive and Canton Avenue intersection to U.S. Highway 17-92, then north to Webster Avenue.
