Amazon’s Treasure Truck (Website) is in Orlando.

The online retailer has launched their glorified pickup/deliver truck across the country and now Amazon users in Orlando can take advantage of the service.

The Treasure Truck program allows shoppers to pick specific Treasure Truck deals using the Amazon app, pay online, and then pick up their purchase in person at a chosen rendezvous. Past deals included early-release Harry Potter books, Thanksgiving turkeys, GoPro cameras, and deeply discounted Instant Pots.

Some trucks hand out random giveaways like free ice cream or even trips to Rio.

The deals change daily, so app users can simply sign on with their Smart Phones to check on what is available at that time or they can sign up for text alerts. Deals last as long as the items are in stock.

Recently the Trucks have been making use of Amazon-owned Whole Foods parking lots as their meeting points, which makes sense as Amazon has yet to establish brick and mortars.
