The Milk District Neighborhood Association (Facebook) is hosting a neighborhood watch and crime prevention workshop on Wednesday, April 4 at the City of Orlando Families Parks and Recreation Department, located at 595 N. Primrose Drive [GMap].
NextDoor and online forums have been awash with posts from residents reporting car break-ins in the residential part of the downtown district but when we reached out to the Orlando Police Department no official reports on any car break-ins had been filed.
If you see suspicious behavior, be sure to report it to the police so it is on public record. If enough reports are filed to suggest a trend patrols will be stepped up in that area.
The workshop will run from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
