Timucua Arts Foundation is hosting  the Orlando debut of Venezuela’s Betsayda Machado and Parranda El Clavo at their Downtown South house-turned-concert hall on April 19.

This band has been acting as the voice of Venezuela for the past 31 years and is deeply rooted in an Afro-Soul genre with a dash of Latin American/Caribbean parranda music.

The group has strong roots in social justice-based causes in their home country and many of their songs carry a call to action in them.

This concert has a rare ticket cost of $20 for general admission and can be purchased HERE. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. show on Thursday, April 19.

Timucua White House is located at 2000 S. Summerlin Avenue [GMap].
