New kid on the Downtown block Blackstar (Website) is hosting RuPaul alum Naomi “look at those gams” Smalls and DJ Dani Toro this Friday.
The event is part of a Brink throwback takeover in honor of the short-lived gay bar/LGBTQ dance party that used to happen in the same building a few years back.
Depending on the turnout this could be a regular series of pop-gay bar nights at the popular concert venue.
The event begins at 10 p.m. Friday at Blackstar which is located at 42 W. Concord Street [GMap]. Tickets are only $5.
