““When a girl kicks you out of her apartment you don’t spend a week hanging around her parking lot.” – scott vocca to scott joseph
Claddagh Cottage Irish Pub (Facebook) is finally in soft opening in their new home in the Hourglass District, at 2421 Curry Ford Road [GMap].
Claddagh Cottage closed on New Years Day in 2017 after one last hurrah on New Year’s Eve. The old location was roughly 2,400 SF and was razed in order to make way for a new Walgreens store. The new space is a roomier 3,500 SF.
At the time of the closure, Claddagh-owner Scott Vocca was quoted by Scott Joseph of Scott Joseph Orlando as saying, “When a girl kicks you out of her apartment you don’t spend a week hanging around her parking lot” when asked about his upset regulars threatening to picket Walgreens for displacing them. Classic.
Our friends at the podcast Pretty Little Pints (Facebook | Website) attended the opening night shindig on Thursday, April 19 and took the following photos.
Hours are 4 p.m.-midnight Monday to Thursday, 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Friday, 11:30 a.m.- 2 a.m. Saturday, and tentatively 11:30 a.m.-midnight on Sundays.
