Ivanhoe Village Main Street needs a new Director

The Ivanhoe Village Main Street is in need of a new Executive Director. Again.

The Board of Directors for the local Main Street program issued a statement late in the evening of Monday, April 30, stating that they had ” … ended their relationship with Sandi Thompson as the Executive Director” and that they ” … wish her well in her future endeavors.”

A reason for the change in leadership has not been released at this time.

This is approximately the sixth director for the Ivanhoe Village Main Street(Website) since it was founded in 2009. Ivanhoe Village failed to qualify as an accredited Main Street America program for their latest fiscal year.

A committee has been put into place by the Board to come up with a new job description for a recruiting and hiring process to be initiated soon.

The current Board Chair, Holly Vanture, was once the Main Street Director for SODO’s program but has stated publicly that she is not a candidate for this new position.
