Construction on the interim memorial park on the Pulse Orlando property began in Late February, under the direction of the privately-led onePULSE Foundtation.

The new greenspace will wrap around the exterior of the building and utilize some of already existing features like the Pulse sign and mature trees that were already growing on the property. New features include more enhanced landscaping, benches and permanent seating, and a perforated wall installation that allows visitors to leave flowers and notes in the wall itself; like a metallic version of the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.

This park is expected to only exist for two years, with a possible one-year extension, before it is replaced with something more permanent, including a possible museum.

We covered the release of the plans, created by Dix Hite landscape architects, HERE in October, 2017.
