The City of Orlando is looking to hire a new Neighborhood Outreach Coordinator.

This position is responsible for communicating Public Works Department initiatives to affected communities. They research, write, publish, and publicize best practices for Public Works projects, including producing pages for the City’s website.

They must plan, publicize, and coordinate community and neighborhood meetings and communicate information regarding services provided by the Public Works Department.
Work is performed under the supervision of the Public Works Director and requires office and fieldwork.

Applicants must have a Bachelor degree in business or public administration, public relations, engineering, planning, or a related field; plus three years experience developing and administering neighborhood or community outreach programs.

Starting salary is $46,259 to $57,844 per year, depending on qualifications.
