We announced back in May 2016, HERE, that a new concept called The Grape and The Grain would be opening in the former home of the rarely open Angels Landing second-hand shop at 1110 Virginia Drive [GMap].

The bar specializes in craft beer sourced mostly from local vendors and a fancy wine menu. They also serve a seasonal charcuterie board with cheeses, fruits, and various cured meats.

A large patio outside doubles the available seating and runs parallel to the Orlando Urban Trail. An adjoining greenspace opens up via a large wooden fence to allow visiting food trucks to set up a few times a week. They will also be rotating out featured artists each month; the current featured artist is Orlando-based Peterson Guerrier.

Co-owner Christian Arqueros told Bungalower that they will be hosting frequent live music out back on the patio on the weekends and during happy hour.

Grape and the Grain (Facebook | Website) opened on Friday, May 11. They are closed Mondays, otherwise, they are open for business 5 p.m.-midnight Tuesday to Thursday, 5 p.m.-2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon-7 p.m. Sunday.
