The V Group (Website) announced in December of last year that they were closing Herman’s Loan Office (Website) and refocusing their efforts on a new venture in Thornton Park. They have just announced that their new concept is set to open this June.
Novelty at 101 (Website) will be located at 101 S. Eola Drive [GMap] in the former Tsar Lounge space, in the South Eola neighborhood. The interior has been redesigned to focus on natural light, and “modern, minimalistic elements, calming features, and open seating to complement their community vibe.”
Novelty will offer hookah and cigar service as well as community and private events. Frequent visitors can take advantage of the 101 Membership program that grants them special pricing on their favorite drinks, complimentary valet, a private locker, access to pre-sales, and members-only parties.
A grand opening is scheduled for June 7, 8, and 9.
